Turfscapes has served Longview and East Texas since 2009. What started as a teenager mowing neighborhood lawns has grown into a full service landscaping company trusted by hundreds of homeowners, businesses, and municipalities across the region.
We're a family run business, built by people who grew up here, work here, and plan to stay here. That means when we design your landscape or install your irrigation system.
How Turfscapes Got Started
Turfscapes was founded by brothers Mike and Seth Rapazzo, whose family put down roots in Longview generations ago — with ancestors who immigrated from Russia and Italy.
Mike started young. At 9, he was selling decorative Christmas lights. By his teens, he was raising and selling bee hives. At 16, before he even had his driver's license, he had his first lawn care accounts and was convincing his dad to drive him to job sites. By 18, he'd left beekeeping behind to focus full-time on the outdoor industry — and Turfscapes was born.
Seth joined him early, working full-time on a lawn crew at 17. Today, Seth leads the landscaping and plant side of the business, manages the company's plant nursery, and is developing a line of desert and succulent plants suited to the East Texas climate.
What began as two brothers finding their way has grown into a company of 25+ employees supporting Longview families — including their own.
